Sarah steps out of a dry cleaning shop, a well-pressed suit wrapped in plastic and draped over her arm. Her nurse's uniform is visible under her wool coat, and she seems in a hurry as she walks down the sidewalk. Her gaze passes over Melinda, unseeing, as she passes. She's several feet away before she stops and turns. Was that... but no, that woman was closer to her own age than... all the same, she can't help but start walking in the woman's direction again, as if to catch up with her.
She mumbles "Sorry" when she brushes against her, and notices the nurses uniform, but not her face. She also pauses after a moment, trying to figure out who that was, and the possibilities of it being who she thought it was.
She gets close, then hesitates. What is she going to do, tap the woman on the shoulder and say, "Excuse me, but you remind me of a girl I know who's the personification of creation." Maybe she can just casually walk past her, to get a better look. Trying not to look silly, she walks a little closer. Luck seems to be on her side, as the light changes at the end of the block and both women need to stop for oncoming cars.
The woman stops at the light, and with Sarah. She glances at her, to see if it's who she thinks it is. She'd be surprised to know that Sarah is wondering the same thing as her. Well, almost the same thing.
