Amon calls him his lieutenant barely a month after they first meet. They're of a similar mind on so many things, he's proud of the title. By the time of the riot, he's separated Bayani from the Lieutenant -- it makes his day-to-day tasks easier, to have the bit of separation.

He hasn't been Bayani for a week. Between learning chi-blocking and helping Amon arrange certain matters with Hiroshi Sato, he's glad he got that vacation time.
