So this is what's been happening. I've recently been reading Shadowjack's other 'Where I Watch', of Neon Genesis Evangelion. NGE, also known as EVA, is an anime classic and also one hell of a ride.

"Never underestimate the power of sheer paranoia," Angelo replied with a grin, closing down his laptop. "Your brothers are definitely helping on that end -- all this killing of halvsies is scaring the hell out us all."

"Except you," she pointed out.

He shrugged. "We all die sooner or later. Of course, after smashing Conquest in the face with a baseball bat it'll probably be sooner for me."

Merikha hid a smile. "And you wonder why the Nephilim trust you."

"They really shouldn't."

"No," she agreed.

"And there they go." Angelo pointed, and Merikha looked down at the building. Sure enough, people were leaving as quickly as they could.

"....mortals are very odd."

"Pick a Nephil and follow. One of 'em'll be reporting to Lumiel."

I checked the Book of Revelations and LO AND BEHOLD. CONQUEST. So apparently Andreas and Victor are twins. Who knew.
