The young bronze rider has a reputation of being emotionally repressed -- but then, given Boll's Lord Holder, she can't say she blames the girl. And her skill at hiding how she feels very much unnerves the fools trying to tell her she's committed some sort of blasphemy for daring to Impress bronze.
Lessa snorted. Everyone had seen the newly hatched dragon beeline straight for her -- except for M'ai. Not that that stopped the outraged Lord Holders.
Too, M'ai had taken up the cause of the crippled rider, and that choice, Lessa felt, was the most unusual one of that particular Hatching.
She wished she could have seen the young bronze rider deal with the idiot Holders. That would have been beautiful.
