Lana went out for a run early on in the day, then came home and did all those necessary housework type things. Then she stretched out in a lounge chair in the front yard to do a little sunbathing. After spending some time in the park, Marie had gone back to her dads' place. She realized she hadn't checked her email since she had arrived.

Immediately after checking, she rushed over to Lana's house since she couldn't find her dads anywhere.

She knocked frantically on the door, clutching a handful of papers.

"How do we get her here?" Lana asked, choosing not to respond. Nothing Marie could say was going to make her believe it wasn't at least partly her fault. if she'd been in touch with Phoebe she would have known it was getting bad before it got to this point.

"I almost want to send Papa Phale after her," Marie admitted. "But maybe we should give her a chance to come out on her own. I've got a decent amount of money saved up, we could buy her a plane ticket and tell her if she's not on the plane, we're sending him out?"
