This is absolutely perfect, and may be (after "Clever Men" and your El the Photographer fic) my favorite story of yours.

The dialogue is brilliant, and that you've based it on Le Liasons Dangereuse is even more brilliant.

I love how open and accepting Pierre/Peter is, and how cagey and worried Nicholas/Neal gets as time passes. And of course, handsy Pierre is all but canon. Especially after last week.

Brava, bravura, bravissima!

<3 this is so good!!! I think you did the dialogue and atmosphere so well for a difficult time period <3 and it never felt forced or was difficult to understand :D you really have a gift for writing period pieces!

SO impressed at how you rendered their characters, and their evolutions, and the way they find to fit together despite their differences, so perfectly--it's like a mirror of the show set in another world! I thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks for writing it!
