This is a Chuck/Casey fic - orignally I didn't tell people the pairing and asked people to guess. The guesses were great but nobody thought Chasey for some reason :) Anyway, I loved all the suggestions, but I can't stop thinking of this as Chuck/Casey so I think I'll stay with it :), even though I had also thought of Bryce/Chuck, or Hardison/

With Peter it seems more obvious, since one is clearly toppier than the other :)

Hee. I was thinking of Chuck/Casey from Chuck, but then briefly I considered making this about someone else: Bryce/Chuck, or from Leverage maybe Eliot/Hardison or Nate.

I hadn't even thought of Ianto, but that would be SO perfect - thanks for suggesting it.

That was very interesting.

I kept rotating pairings in my head. (Neal/Peter) (Chuck/Bryce) (McGee/Tony) and, just because I spent so many years in Harry Potter fandom, Sirius/Remus, pre-series.

I ended up sticking on Neal/Peter because Peter seems like a mostly straight guy who might be able to relax that enough for this. But I could see Bryce in his place, easy.

Anyway- fantastic story! Beautiful characterization; I love Mostly Straight's reactions and his friend's tiny victories. Though, strangely, without faces on them, it felt... not distant, but- farther. If that makes sense.

Thanks! I like all the pairings you suggest :) I only know HP from the movies (don't put me on a hitlist, okay?), but I think the image of Sirius/Remus in this would be great :D

I actually thought of Casey/Chuck but I like the suggestions I got from people more in some ways :)

:) aww finally read this with chuck/casey attached to it... I wouldn't have guessed though. the weedling made me think bryce or neal -- but really chuck/bryce I think :) with bryce trying to talk chuck into sexytimes <3

Thanks! I thought of Bryce too and a couple other pairings. But I like your comment about Bomer-wheedling. All his characters are really really good at it for some reason :)
