So there's history here, huh? Interesting...

I can't say that this a *cute* piece, but it had this trace of 'pet the angsty vampire' that I really loved.

I know I said this about 'Razor's Edge', and I'll say this again here, I love the idea of chasing the blood around. I liked how it was done here. I loved the image of it.

And of course that start. The dialogue reads a lot like the typical, snarky friends but then devolves- evolves?- into something more intimate.

As far as the slash itself goes, I think it makes a lot of sense to have be fuelled by his vision of the girl. Mick watches the effect on the girl, he thinks of Coraline, and then there's the intimacy with Josef that just snowballs.

In that context, this piece works.

Well, it wasn't *meant* to be a cute piece so I'm glad that it didn't work that way. And yeah, Angsty!Mick absolutely wanted to play. :D

I also love the image of chasing blood around. That actually came up from an earlier piece that I've never posted anywhere, and I think I throw it into all the smut pieces I write.
