I did. I know that I am cruel to _Neverwinter Nights_, so I consciously tried to set my established opinions aside when I gave the sequel a whirl. The verdict? It sucks even more than its predecessor

I think it's a bit early to say I'm going to be using LJ significantly; I still prefer to only post things in the public sphere when I think they're interesting and a lot of the things I do are fundamentally boring. But I source my LJ feed in a number of places, so it's where I would post interesting thoughts if I had them.
That said, I miss Jyte. So there's a good chance that more of my ramblings will escape into the world in future times.
But the whole point of having an LJ is to bore people with the inanity of your day to day life! (Have you read mine lately? It's full of inanity, like cell phones to buy, family garbage, and fanfic. I'm kind of suffering from post-election withdrawal, without politics to post about all the time anymore.)
"I'm not afraid of losing; a game that is afraid of letting me lose is fundamentally uninteresting."----ok, that's really fascinating to me, and tells me a lot about the whole gaming thing and why you'd want to do it.
I am, of course, very much NOT a gamer, and I can barely imagine spending 10 hours doing something that I didn't absolutely love and wasn't paid to do. Neat to get a taste of your perspective, and I hope your next game is much less full of the Suck.

I am, of course, very much NOT a gamer, and I can barely imagine spending 10 hours doing something that I didn't absolutely love and wasn't paid to do. Neat to get a taste of your perspective, and I hope your next game is much less full of the Suck.
