I just got an e-mail from Ticketmaster about Lewis Black. We love Lewis Black, and have seen him a couple of times, but the Ticketmaster alerts are often for venues that are just too far away ( Read more... )

I would imagine that there is or soon will be a financial crisis in the entertainment business including sports. But, I'm not sure how giving a show at 10:00 AM on a Friday, anywhere in this country, is supposed to draw much of a crowd.

Well, during The Great Depression (as remembered by my mother), it was the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY that thrived, albeit the actors weren't paid much, comparatively speaking.

It's hard to guess what industries will be hit hard this time.

I will say his whole promotion sounds horribly put together. I'd be looking for a new agent!
