This morning, I pulled out of the spam filter a research paper from a student.

The "sent" tag is: 10:09 PM, Thur 3/8/2007!!!!

It is apparently from a student I had back then.

Where would this thing have been for over a year and a half?

Ah, the mysteries of the e-mail dimension.

I have received e-mail slower than USPS mail, but close to two years is beyond anything I've experienced.
