I got a copy of the German Thoth deck a few months ago. I'm not able to read German, so I didn't realize how small the deck was when I ordered it. If I'd known it was that small, I wouldn't have bothered. I thought it was a waste of money. Maybe there's a larger version with the new colors and I just screwed up.

It's so small (yes, quite a bit smaller than the old regular-sized one) that I couldn't confidently assess the supposed differences. Frankly, I haven't bothered to look at it much.

I still hold that having a Thoth deck is better than not having one. I just find the difficulty in procuring one (International German Order -- actually, that does sound a bit cool) combined with the artwork quality & size to be sad.

The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea is a horrifying (as so many stories centering around the logic of adolescent males are) and beautiful novel. It has always stayed with me - that and Sun and Steel, in particular. I'm coveting the Bruce Lee films. I must go and pray.
