I'm sorry you're feeling guilty about being the one to come home. There is a reason you were one of the ones to come back. Maybe it's because you need to let everyone know what's really going on over there. We have been told so many misconceptions about the going-ons in Iraq by the media. Maybe that's part of why you came back. Maybe it's also because the greater powers out there decided that they just didn't want you yet. That's good, because we all still do. I'd keep you in a heartbeat. You still need to get married, have many meefers and just have a wonderful life. Things are going to get better, hell, they can't get any worse can they? Just remember, I'm here for you..and I love you and I want for you what I wish for myself...happiness. <3

I know this is way late, and you might not even read it, but here goes.

I know one reason why you came home. I'll never know why any of them didn't, aside from it being their time to go, but I'm glad He didn't take you.

You are so important to me. You helped me see that there are people (men) who really do care, and aren't typical. I love you so much, and if you'd died in Iraq, I would never had gotten the opportunity to love you, and I would have missed out and never known it.

I thank God that He brought you home safe, instead of taking you. I know it's rather selfish (eternal bliss awaiting you and all that.) But I'm still grateful. Thank you sweetheart for coming home, and staying here.
