The Thief Lord! It's one of my favorite books. Scipio and Bo and Prop. Ah! I'm going to rent the movie when we get back and you're going to ship Scipiprop. It's a very small fandom (and by small, I meant nonexistant), but zomg. It's there, Corinna. It's there.

You should also pick up the Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke. I liked that one too.

Yes! Yes there is a movie and it's fantastic and I've been meaning to buy it for years, but I haven't! Maybe I'll ask for it for my birthday. It's wonderful, Corinna. They did such a wonderful job. Also, it makes me feel bad for perving on boys who are about thirteen...

Well, I'm glad that you are relaxing and enjoying the holiday season. That sounds like the day from hell! My parents are kind of over taking care of me, seeing as my cousin is very needy, they don't have any caretaking ability left; it's been sapped from their souls. But I'm doing alright. I am LOVING Tamora Pierce right now.

How does it remind you of Jamie and Claire?

Only the Prosper and Bo part does (genderswitch, though). Prosper and Bo are brothers. Prosper is 12, Bo is 5. When their parents die, they are sent to their aunt's. She wants to adopt Bo, but not Prosper, so Prosper takes Bo and they run away. He's violently protective of Bo, with fair skin and long dark hair. They end up living a life of crime (at least Prosper does, but won't let Bo) in a busy city.

Not really. Only with regards to how much he trusts his brother, and wants to stay with him. He's very outgoing and eager. But hey, could have been a more confident Claire.
