OH WHAT IS THIS???

IT SEEMS TO BE A LABOR DAY WHEN I DON'T HAVE SCHOOL.

SUCK ON IT, WELLS!

of course this would be so so so much cooler if I had Monday classes.  I am ignoring this.

Am playing FFXII.  Apparently running around the Phon Cliffs and the Titchy-Twitchy Upyoursland for about two weeks for no other purpose than it's leveling up and I can ( Read more... )

Aha! I see that's one less game I have to foist off on you!

And who needs directions in the Great Crystal. We've got Sanskrit!

I know what you mean about Balthier, too. Aww, it thinks it's Han! Fran as Chewie? Raaaarraagggh?

Vaan is just along for the ride. Consider him the cabin boy. Penelo is there to make sure he doesn't get sold along the way to strange rich Archadian men.

I foist games upon myself! I have learned!

I had a minor mindfuck when I first pulled up the map in there. "Buh? Is...has the map always looked like this?" I'm a compulsive map-looker. It gave me a twitch. Did it stop me from pulling it up every five seconds and staring at it trying to figure out how to go? It did not.

Balthier is Han Solo in the whole "I'm a pirate who flies a spaceship with my not-quite-human very tall possibly sexed-up copilot to avoid my past and OH BY THE WAY THAT'S A HOT PRINCESS MAYBE I CARE ABOUT STUFF BUT MAYBE NOT" kind of way, but unlike Han Solo in the "I use complete sentences rife with metaphor" kind of way. And instead of "RAAAAAAAARGH!" Fran says things like "I like the men and their tying up of me."

Penelo does very well at keeping Vaan from being sold as an assboy despite Vaan's best efforts.

Vaan really grows into his role.

Him and Penelo not only are the leads in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for DS theyre also going to be taking lead in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 also for the DS

I'm glad to hear that. At the moment he's sort of the guy puttering around in the back going "Gaw-lee! this shore is excitin'!"

The game totally rotates with the whole cast really. Its really the one of the strongest in the FF series, but I'm such a sucker for FF9. I'm still debating importing the white FFXII DS lite.

OOOH your next venture of RPG, I'd totally recommend Tales of the Abyss or Persona 3.

I've only played VII and X the whole way through, and might just have to venture into the unknown world of IX.

What are those other two about?

I didn't get any messages from you. Why didn't you facebook me or something?

Because calling is more personal. Not to mention it would be nice to talk to a person that was one of my closest friends through all of high school once in a while. Instead I either get a voicemail box (which you "don't get" my messages) or I talk to you where you blow me off and say you will "call me later" and never do.

Calling is more personal, it's true, but it's not as if I lay around all day waiting for phone calls. I'm taking a full schedule this semester PLUS that other job, and I frequently clear my voicemail counter because my mom spams me with about four every day.
