When you first posted this, I couldn't load Ebay for some dumb reason. I forgot to go back to it...now I see it, and I want to eat it ("eat crow"...heh heh)...or just rub my cheek on it. Or put in in my pocket. Or some other tactile thing.
Hi, Coco reposted your artificially-skinnified-Venuses post and my jaw dropped. Can I link on Shapely Prose (or would you be willing to send it in as a guest post)? And if so, how would you like to be credited?
You're welcome to reuse the images with your own commentary (or link to coco's) with no credit to me. I prefer being internet-anonymous, and I myself haven't said anything new or earth-shattering about them, I think the comparisons speak for themselves. I'd also like people to be able to notice this kind of thing on their own; the more we put it out there and talk about it, the better we're able to call it out as weird and wrong when we see it ourselves.
And as an art-lover. I think the original Venuses are worthy of more respect than that. :D
