I've been losing sleep over this.

A couple of days ago,
newborn was thrown out of a speeding taxi. The mother, a 15 year-old, apparently gave birth inside the cab and in fear/panic threw her baby out the window. The baby miraculously survived. The mother is in custody.

A day before that, a

Yes the series of unwanted lives or newborn babies being(mal)treated this way is upsetting. If any unwanted babies come your way, please let me know how I can help you help the babies have a Life.

Hi Daphne :-) I heard that over the radio, there was another story about a baby thrown in the river too. Really, what's happening with the youths now??? I feel so sorry for the babies.

Yes. Or to any loving gay couple who can't have a kid of their own. =) if the baby is Brazilian give him/her to me, I will love him/her as my own son/daughter. =)

yes but i can't believe media showed her face. i think there's a rule about not showing the faces of minors (esp victims).

i just want to hold and kiss those babies.

very disturbing indeed that this has been happening with some frequency lately. we can only speculate on the reasons, but what they did is unjustifiable.

We hear that a lot here in the states as well and it's not just from young unwed mothers, some are from mothers in their late 20's and even 30's. It's hard to even imagine what these people are thinking hurting a harmless, innocent child. I too get very affected when I hear/read stuff like this. It took me and my husband 5 years and I had to have 2 surgeries to conceive, we now have 2 kids (a girl and a boy). It's very disturbing that there are people who are lucky enough to have kids and they easily discard them like garbage... These people should think and give the kids up to someone who desperately wants to have children ...

so so sad. i hear you, about having trouble conceiving and wanting so much to have kids. i was that way too. and the Lord blessed us with two beautiful girls.
