Do something you've never done before

I've never been big on birthdays. I don't like celebrating mine. Maybe this is why we don't go for the giant birthday parties for our kids. I try to make an effort for theirs. For my own, I'd rather sleep off the entire day. I even get a bit sad weeks leading up to my birthday. Y'all know it's a milestone year for me. And this is my birthday month ( Read more... )

Hi Daphne! Sorry for out of topic question, but I find my flip mino HD videos too grainy when I upload them in my PC. Do you happen to notice them, too? TIA!

it shouldn't be that grainy - unless you were in very low light? did you check if the protective sticker film is still on the lens?

same here! i thought i was strange to not be happy days, heck even weeks, leading up to my birthday. nice to see that there are some here who feel the same as well. and yes, during my birthdays, i'd rather sleep than celebrate too. it's just any other day for me. hmmm... any shrink in the house? how about some psychoanalysis?

and wow! daphne's kuya met arzak. i'll put that in my bucket list. eat at arzak and hopefully meet the man himself too.

Your brother is amazing! I don't think I can ever run with the bulls. I might freeze on the spot and die right there too in the blink of one eye.

And I always think it's very sweet when siblings (no matter how old they are) still call each other Ate and Kuya. :)

yes i find it so sweet too. growing up in Canada though I thought it was the most uncool thing. but now I really love that my parents instilled that in us... and I hope my daughters continue with it.

I know how Stella will feel with having two older Ates. :) I have 3 older sisters and one older brother too. But it's fun to have Ates and Kuyas. :)
