The other day, I got home and my 7-year-old daughter said "I want to be a tiger trainer too, not just an oceanographer." She was drawing freehand based on the show she was watching in Animal Planet. No pencil. Just a black marker.

cute! etch-a-sketch or whiteboards won't be able to preserve the drawings though they do save on paper. Gone are the days when kids used to just say "I want to be a teacher or a doctor or a fireman!". Most careers for them are really complex. hehe. My daughter actually said she either wanted to be a "Donya" (where did that come from?!) or a Chef (because she likes food and is fascinated by high tech ovens and kitchens).

when i was a kid i wanted to be a stewardess, because my mom was one when she was single. my sister wanted to be a maid so she could sweep the ground outside all day. haha

but the thing is, we're not rich for her to pick-up the Donya thing. hehe. :)
