career..haha

i do miss simple birthday parties. i have seen extremely ostentatious ones with matching forest for the fairies and not lootbags..pushcarts with toys in them.OA.

good luck!!

it's nice when something we do by ourselves turn out really cute, isn't it? the invites are nice and i'm sure the kids being kids, they all think it's the best invite ever. is that you with the side-swept hair on the 1st photo? anyway, i'm sure you're super near-panic but it's kinda funny how you chronicle your latest party planning escapades. hope to read some more stuff about it. ;)

i love your invites! i wish i were as creative as you :) i am a bit guilty about being sucked in the over the top childrens party thingy. my son's 1st birthday party was CRAZY :) my guests had fun though :)

i cant wait to see other details of your daughters party :)

hi, i've been reading your blog for quite some time now. i just re activated my lj account. i want to share with you the 7th bday parties my kids had: a tea party for my eldest, where i gave everyone a hat,and a strand of pearls and pair of gloves for the girls. i even made a book about her party which served as souvenirs too. my boy had a dinosaur/ explorer party where kids participated in a scavenger hunt, and a cupcake party for my third one, where everyone got a cupcake to decorate with and aprons were given as souvenir. i enjoyed every minute of the planning, preparations and especially the trips to divisoria for the prizes and lootbags :) this is where i really saved a lot on.. In 4 years time, i'll be having another one... Anyway, good luck on your upcoming parties and Happy Birthday in advance to Sophia!

The thank you cards are so adorable. Hehe, since it's a nautical/beach party maybe little party favors - beach toys could go in a small pail (plus they could use it for summer). Good luck! :)
