very similar to toywatch which was really a craze 2-3years ago. i have one and it's actually nice to wear everyday but yes it is delicate, i broke/shattered many pieces already but i still love it
teachercoo, my thoughts exactly! i was instantly reminded of toy watch. (btw, i didn't know toy watch was already hot 3 years ago? i got mine in rustans only last year.) i also have this thing for boyfriend watches, they're so nice to look at and wear because they're just so BIG. :) about acrylic straps, yes mine also broke just a few months after i bought it, the problem with acrylic straps is that they are really prone to cracking. rustans was kind enough to have it repaired for free though (well, because it was still within the warranty period). you really really have to be careful with how you handle the acrylic straps, closing and opening them slowly, and not banging them on hard surfaces.
PS. teachercoo, the service center of toy watch is somewhere in ortigas ave., greenhills, if you go to rustans silver vault area in makati the salesladies will gladly provide you the address and contact numbers. if you bought it at rustans, i think you can also have it sent to the service center through them. you may have to wait though because the replacement links are not always available and have to be ordered from abroad. i had to wait almost a month for mine.
thanks for the info bornon1027. got mine more than 2 years ago at macy's. do you remember how much are the replacement links? if it's not that expensive i can wait a month instead of asking my bff to buy it and send thru fedex. thanks

What I meant by it being delicate - it's ceramic, not acrylic. Though it's virtually scratch proof, it could also chip/break.
