On breastfeeding: good Job Daph! I am also an advocate of breastfeeding so it's really nice to see friends who believe in this as well. I have other friends who didn't bother to breastfeed because 1. they claim they have "no" milk; 2. they have to work (so did I-- that's why there's such a thing as a breastpump 3. It's painful. Oh well. Sad.

On Smoky Places: Yuck. I hate how the smell of smoke sticks to your hair and clothig. Yuck. And it stays on for days too. Yuck. Hate, hate, hate. I even hate riding in a smoker's car. Even if he/ she isn't smoking at the time I ride in the car.

Copycats: I know how you feel. It's very difficult when you're obviously the pioneer and someone else takes your very idea and develops it and then makes it his or her own. I hate it just like I hate plagiarism. So much for ethics, right? :(

Oh and on Karaoke: Crap. I guess you can play extra loud music to counter it-- Verdi would do nicely. I'm sure they'll stop singing hahaha.

breastfeeding: mm, i don't gettit too. i've heard similar stories and it frustrates me no, parang i want to do a baranggay seminar not just on breastmilk stuff but also on basic free things people can do to reduce gastos. hay. oh well.

smoky places: i hate smoke too. (all kinds) i have no problem with people smoking. i mean, it's their choice. just don't do it in places with lotsa people (esp places with children!!), you know, not everybody smokes these days daba

copycats: ugh, how desperate :-(

karaoke: i'm also in the same situation. and i even know that neighbor; an old high school classmate's family. guess we can't do much about it, esp if the party or family involves people in politics. let's just wish a) they sing soft for sleeping kindof songs or b) gary v/lea s is our neighbor. i sure wouldn't mind :-)

Re: Noisy neighbors - gunshots stop everything (but, wait, you have kids), call the police on them, threaten to sue (and follow-up) for disturbing the peace or whatever you can find to make them stop, throw cat poop at their house whenever they kararaoke waaay too loud, still thinking...

did you try telling your neighbors upfront that they were disturbing? Baka naman kailangan lang nilang malaman... baka hindi sinabi ng guard...Once, i told my neighbor, 'pakilipat na lang ang entertainment area nyo sa kabilang side ng house, maingay sa gabi eh.' ok naman na.
