Frustration

I wish there was a universal gift that I could give all of my friends and family that they would all like, that wouldn't burn a hole in my checkbook, and that would mean something. Because it seems like every year all I'm doing is buying gifts because I feel obligated to... especially after last year when I warned everyone not to get me anything

Thats whats so weird... EVERYONE is in the same boat so why cant people just NOT buy you stuff and make it okay for you to not buy them stuff. its gonna be one sad little Xmas here and I let everyone know WAY ahead of time. "I mean it... your getting NOTHING from me... love you but too poor. Its uncomfortable if you buy me soemthing and put me in a spot.. lets just do an after Xmas coffee or soemthing"
