Spa treatment question...

A male friend wants to buy a spa treatment or two for his wife and her mother for Christmas & has asked for my advice. I'm not really the spa type - I've had a couple of massages & manicures in my life, but that's about it. So, I'm looking for some advice. What spa treatment (or 2) would be your treatment of choice?

If the giftees are "regulars" at the spa, then I would try something adventurous like a mud wrap or reflexology. If they don't go that often, I would stick with the regular Swedish massage & signature facial.
