I have an idea, but it's not necessarily a mainstream fairy tale (is actually an old Russian folktale).

It might take a while to finish - the story is long, but one of my favorites.

Hey there, I'm new here so I'm not sure where to do the intro "hello everybody" thing. Anyhoo, I'm about to start this challenge, and I was wondering if nursery rhymes suffice as a fairy tale? I have a couple of ideas clanging around in my head, but the one that is really screaming at me is "Jack Sprat" which is a nursery rhyme rather than a full out fairy tale LOL.

Fear not, I can pick something else from the pile if this will not do, just let me know :-)

No, that's great! These challenges are really just meant to get your creative juices flowing, so interpret the challenge any way you want. Nursery rhymes are fine. :)
