I'm disappointed this is a one shot. and why you might ask? because it is MADE of WIN! ;D you did a great job with those cliche's and they made this story all the more awesome. Alistair's haste to clean himself up a bit and then get Elissa a chair to sit on was so him and so cute ;D all in all? I love this ;DD

To get in the mindset, I had written "cigarettes, whiskey, Bogart" at the bottom of the page. :) I was saying in chat yesterday that I all wanted now was Duncan in a trench and fedora and Alistair in rolled up shirtsleeves with tie loosed and one shirt end untucked. Maybe glasses. :D

I also loved the little period touches (died in the war and your word choices which mimic phrases/speech in the 1940s). Great job!
