UM SO HI. I'm alive. I know, this has been bad. It's been...some months. What's the point of even trying to justify it. I fail. This we know.

So there was a new TVD tonight. To be perfectly honest, I don't have it in me to write anything of substance. So what follows is an extremely brief LOL post. Starting off with:

ALL THE DAMON/JEREMY BROSHIPPING YES PLEASE. I love Damon totally failing at being an authority figure. But also, the bar stool next to him has been empty for far too long. He needs a new buddy.

SECONDING YOUR ENTIRE DORM ROOM RANT. Did you scroll back up the chat and read my convo w/ Alex? LOL b/c I said the same exact thing. I have seen a lot of unrealistic looking dorm rooms in my years of watching teen TV dramas, but this one was THE MOST UNREALISTIC EVER. It looked like it was an entire floor of a house, basically.

I am a bit disappointed that Silas!Stefan was found out so quickly (although I did laugh at his line to Liz about outing himself as not-Stefan while slitting her wrist). I was hoping for some good doppelganger shenanigans.

Mystic Falls and its obsession with paper lanterns. SO MANY PAPER LANTERNS. Maybe it's that every time someone dies in this town, a new paper lantern is lit. Soon the paper lanterns will outnumber the living 10 to 1. Only a matter of time.LMFAO ( ... )

D/E were relatively inoffensive, although I could do with less sap. And I'm still counting down the days until their inevitable implosion, lol.

EVERYTHING ABOUT KATHERINEEEEEEEEEEEE. You know, I think her arc might be the only one I'm truly excited about atm. I LOVE that even as a human, Katherine is still Katherine and barely hesitated to ditch a dying Jeremy at the end to get away.

In lamer news, everything about Stefan is so embarrassing omg I couldn't watch. My "favorite" part is how even after everything that happened last season, his ideal/perception of Elena is STILL AS THE HOLY MADONNA BATHED IN LIGHT COME TO REDEEM HIM FROM HIS WRETCHEDNESS. JUST DROWN, GODDAMMIT.

College doesn't work like this. You don't get massive deluxe suites with queen-sized beds and private bathrooms and refrigerators you didn't just buy at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. NO MORE OF THIS, TV.

LIZ, HOW CAN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT DAMON'S HAIR? FOR SERIOUS, IT FINALLY LOOKS GOOD! WE SHOULD BE THROWING CONFETTI AND MAKING THE SMOLDERHOLDER SIGN IN BLOOD THAT HE WILL ONLY HAVE THAT HAIR CUT FOREVER.

It's alright, really. You can have your own opinion. Honestly. ;-)

But, really? His hair looks AWESOME, IMHO.

Otherwise, I loved it, but I won't press you to see my POV on Stefan's hallucinations. Just suffice it to say all things human!Katherine are WONDERFUL and I WANTS MOAR!

LOLOLOL about their dorm. I did not go to much college, but I still know that dorms are like glorified closets. On the other hand, it is a really beautiful set :D

Are you not watching The Originals? I'm interested, I can't help it. Klaus and his monumental whining are must-sees, besides, I feel like I gave them the hybrid baby idea, so I gotta see how it plays out.

And Damon and Elena could not be more perfect if they tried. So wonderful.

Your thoughts are pretty much my thoughts, especially the parts about Katherine being all "BEING A REAL GIRL IS TOTES HARD" because YES! She was so aces. I am so happy that she's back and still awesome.

I am, however, slightly disappointed that everyone knows about Silas!Stefan already. I feel as though that was a storyline that had actual potential for doppelganger shenanigans (and I do not think that "shadow-self" is a satisfactory alternative by the way show) but BOOM! donesville. I am intrigued to see where they go with it now. How long will poor Steffy be left to languish with his dumb-ass hallucinations?
