Got my truck back and it cost less than quoted, only $850.00. Of course now I don't like the way it drives as much. Before the clutch had a "pop" to it. So much that most people couldnt drive it. I'd take it to a garage or something and they would end up stalling it 2 or 3 times trying to driive it in the bay and I'd end up having to do it ( Read more... )

Since my dad said he will put up the money to fix my truck he took it to his "good o'le boy" mechanich shop. After it was there all day they said it might be the clutch. Quoted $1000 to fix it. Im trying to figure out how they calculated that out ( Read more... )

Well...after going over everything....$129 is gonna get nothing fixed on my truck (I can tell you that already). So now that this company finally called me back saying the job starts monday...in Carrollton, I can't accept it. Im gonna have to find something close to my parents house and pretend im 13 all over again. *sigh*

Yup...first gear no longer exists. Afraid to take it out of second...may not be able to get it back in. Hopefully its just the synchro's. I cant afford to have any work done on it...period but the synchros would be cheaper. Otherwise I'm gonna be looking for a new transmission...might as well try and find a racing one...maybe 6speed...*cough*

Been having some really fucked up dreams the last few nights. Such as being in a bombed out hotel with a bunch of other people as we watch this giant tidal wave head toward us...very slowly.
