This list is inspired!

Watching cooking shows in a hungover state is gooood! But boo, it makes me fat, as I usually have the munchies with a hangover in a big way. I'll watch the fine cuisine on TV, then realise I have neither the talent nor the brain space to recreate featured dish for myself, so I go out and buy burgers. And fries. And anything in the nearest supermarket that takes less than 5 mins to prepare! Also, bad TV movies are good for hangovers too - anything with Kate Jackson and a kidnap/murder trial (which is just about all of 'em) does the trick. Oh, and cartoons. Lots of them. It's safe to say that drink + TV = a soothing morning after!

And reading in the tub is instant paperback sogginess, but it's one of the best places to relax with a preferred book! I just keep on turning on the hot tap every once in a while...

i like a good epic flick when i'm hungover. like the great escape, which has been on public television like 5 times over the past month. i never seem to see it beginning to end though.

I watched The Great Escape one Xmas a while back and I saw nearly all of it but the beginning. Before that I always thought it was going to be kinda chessy, but it was so good. Just need to see the whole thing now!

Also want to see La Ronde too. I don't think it's available here though. Did you get around to seeing Wise Blood yet? (just outta interest).

the great escape is one of my favorites.

la ronde is extremely hard to find, it seems. i saw it at a public screening. haven't rented wise blood yet, but i will...

i would really like to see 'la ronde'. especially since i attempted to watch the roger vadim version but had to turn it off because it was so freaking boring. not even anna karina in a maids outfit could keep me entertained. this solidified my opinion that roger vadim is a sucker whose only redeeming quality is that he was married to hot babes.
on a less snarky note...i like top tens & i am always on a quest to be a little more awesome.

YOU WILL LOVE LA RONDE.

i haven't seen any vadim, save barbarella (which is enjoyable enough), probably because i assumed as much.

so, i guess we're never gonna speak to one another ever again, huh? hahahaha...

expect a wandering-around-the-airport call sometime soon, lady.

i'm so upset with you for your hipsterdom. i loathe hipsters and everything they stand for. every annoying ass pretentious mother fucker wearing too tight pants at my school is a hipster and i am so disheartened to hear that my own brother has gone too the dark side of snobs....

le sigh...

i think you've entirely misunderstood all of the above. i'm not trying to defend myself for being ahipster, i'm trying to incriminate myself for it. or owe up to it, at least.

way to flame your own brother. sheesh.
