Every full moon there are drum circles here at UCSC. One is in a meadow that you walk for about six minutes through the woods to get to. it starts at 11:00 pm. I just found a picture from one last year, and I'm in it. There weren't any half-naked, dirty, dancing hippies at this one, thank god for you.

Yeah, it really got fun when it rained and everything was all muddy- that faction of Santa Cruz students that would go to something like this in the rain embrace mud. They embrace it all over their bodies. And they sing. really loud.

One guy even brought a didgeridoo (sp?) once! I wish I had a didgeridoo.
