Hey, when you go back to IKEA, if you see the light birch toilet seat ($19.99) could you grab one? I'll pay you for shipping (handling, the actual product, etc. :)). My local IKEA says they're not getting any back in stock before mid-Feb and it's an in-store only item. I've been to 2 different IKEA's so far and can't find this one on the East Coast.
ah, birch. that is also my color of choice. All the furniture I bought is birch, except the shelf since it only came in oak or black... and they were out of black.
I just finished (or am in the process of putting the finishing touches) on remodeling my bathroom. I did it in all IKEA fixtures. The new standing cabinet has a birch edging to it and I thought the toilet seat would tie everything in nicely and finish off the room. I just never expected it to be so hard to find. It's such a ridiculous item to ask for too. :)
