Well hullo there! In the past 10 days I've been to Leeds, Preston, Blackpool, and Barnsley. That is to say, I've gone North for two weekends on the trot. The in-laws last weekend, and friends the previous. Preston was for a wedding party, which was good but strange, since the wedding was several weeks ago. Stopped off in Leeds to see friends,

What is a curry house, exactly? I'm assuming it's an Indian food eatery, but is there some type of Indian eatery that gets that particular term applied to it?

nope nothing special... just what the brits call an indian restaurant. that or a balti house.
