Oh, he's fantastic at being bad. But the thing about Flashpoint is the best 'bad guys' are actually the people with an interesting backstory. They are actually good people who have reached a point where they felt they had no other choice but to do what they did. I'd love to see Shanks playing that kind rather than the kind where they're just...well, bad (it happens on occasion on the show).

I vote that Shanks plays the type of Flashpoint bad guy who gets offered a recurring role. ;D

(Depending upon whether or not "Saving Hope" gets picked up for a 2nd season, of course.)

From what I gather from the preview, I think Shanks' character knows Spike rather well (perhaps he's a cop too? IDK). So it MIGHT be possible? There's not many recurring roles on Flashpoint.

CBS has been picking this show up to show in summer reruns; that decision is made on a year-to-year basis.
