I feel ya! It was so strange (and frustrating) to go from WMM to Vegas. It was an entirely different beast, and I had no idea what did what, or where to get certain effects. You don't even want to know how long it took me to figure out how to 'fade out' :p But it's always nice to try something else...it may take awhile to learn all of its tricks but it allows you to do so much more!

Out of curiosity, what kind of video are you doing? I'm making a mad dash myself to finish a triangle video tonight/tomorrow.

Dude, it took me a while to figure out how to 'fade out' too!! I was like WHERE IS THE FADE EFFECT!!! Why can't it all be simple like WMM??? Just say 'fade in'/'fade out'. *snirk*

I know i'll get frustrated learning it all, but I o look forward to trying out all the bells and whistles and seeing what better editing/effects I can do!

I started with something I figured wouldn't be too much of a hassle - a DV vid to I'd Come for You. I had already clipped a while back with that vid in mind, so I decided to start with that. Damn, if my computer hadn't taken so long to get back running, I so would've done that challenge! I still might try for the Cam/Daniel/Vala idea anyway. It's too fun of an idea to pass up!
