So I bring you all another lovely video of some personal stuffs - this time it's Danny Lion being cute and creepy at the same time and me being....well, me! (and btw, Danny is IN the photo op picture the icon is from...i just didn't have room for him!)

LOL! That was adorable, and damn girl, I *love* your hair!

I have this lion head...thingie. I can't even remember where it come from. Anyway, you smack it or bang it against something, and it's supposed to roar. Years go by and batteries slowly die, and now he just has this low grumble, like he's gurgling yogurt while getting an enema...

hey now, hey now...I take GOOD care of Danny. It's not my fault he likes to get into mischief and muss up his hair (remember the fiasco of getting it to work at Chicago??)

Danny appreciates the compliment...it's not often he gets recognition from anybody other than me (of course I'm never one to not inform him of his cuteness!)

Danny's just the top of the stuffies hierarchy. I like to call them my horde of misfits (all of which have some special sigificance to me)

Thanks! It used to be 'Jack' and 'Daniel', but the soundclip I had of Jack going 'Daniel' got lost when my computer from several years ago bit the big one (and the site I got it from, the soundclip is messed up now) - so I had to substitute 'Spacemonkey' - it took a little getting used to at first (I really liked the 'Jack'/'Daniel' bantering fun of it), but now even my family is used to it! XP

i tried to do that on my computer with like mitchells "wow, check this out" and stuff, but it got annoying after a while. so i have that line from mitchell on my cellphone now, comes when i get a new text message, and there i absolutely love it!
for my laptop i only got 2 sg1 sounds, one is when i turn it on, walter says "chevron 7 locked" and then you hear the chevorn lock and the gate kawoosh. and the other is when i shut it down danny says "bye" *giggles*

I got used to mine - now I can't imagine NOT having my SG sounds as my IM sounds. I hear the normal ones and go 'wow, that's wrong!'

I have several others - when people sign onto AIM, Daniel goes 'Wow, what a ride!', when they sign off he goes 'Oh, no no, no no, don't...don't.'

I also have sounds for turning on and shutting off the comp, but they only work on the rare occassion (a circumstance I have yet to figure out to cause to). When I turn on the comp it's Daniel going "the first part sounds like a derivation of Anicent Egyptian" Catherine: "We couldn't recognize it." Daniel: "Oh, you didn't learn how to speak it aloud on Abydos" (Smug, Snarky Daniel is the best EVAR!). And the shut down sound is the 'Did/Didn't' scene between Jack and Daniel in The Fifth Race. Plus, when i log out (which is very rare), it has Jack going 'Holy Frozen bad guys!'.

Ok... that was cool and funny. My aim used to do the whole Spacemonkey, Jack thing too!

This is a random thing to say but... I always forget how american you guys all are! I think cos I always read stuff from you, and I guess give you an "english" voice in my head, it's so weird to actually hear you! The same thing happens when I (very occasionally) speak to Mel on the phone.

Didn't I start the whole SG-1 AIM sounds trend when I mentioned on Beta that I had mine set up in such a way?

It is something to wonder. Like you read the posts and twitters and automatically picture the reactions of the person and how they say it. But then you see/hear them and you're image is suddenly skewed! Like people tend not to realize I throw my voice and say things with weird accents most of the time...and then you have to take into account when seeing us Americans that we're from different regions and speak with different American accents/inflections.
