Ok, so I found a really great website that lists haunted places by state!  I was even surprised to find my hometown (Wise) listed a couple times!

score! my old college dorm was on the illinois list! yes, i lived in a haunted house, for two years, in a haunted ROOM, no less, for a summer. i never actually SAW anything, but the summer i lived in the room that everyone claimed the ghost came to visit, i never felt entirely 'alone'.
