You're NOT gonna win outright. Or at all for that matter, and that's a FACT - it's gonna be toff-master Cameron or a hung parliament, everything else is fiction! We could argue for hours on the need for an electoral reform and to bring in PR (and I agre 100% on both counts btw), but as things stand, things are like I said above.

I'm sure the minute the Lib-Dems got into power they would revert to their rightful place to the RIGHT of Labour and only barely to the left of the tories - but in any case this is not gonna happen, not this time. Like I said above it's either Cameron or a hung parliament, which is why I'm happy for people to vote in any way necessary to take votes from the tories (and then hope that the base of the lib-dems is strong enough to force Clegg NOT to side up with Cameron - something I have no doubt he'd do without thinking twice)

You are right though - people *are* stupid and with all this "TV debates" [put there by some "clever" cunts, to get people engaged with politics - coz we all hate most of em anyway] all the "x factor-style" bullshit wiil no doubt help Clegg..as it has.

Don't even start me on the TV debates... another wholly unnecessary americanisation of our society and like you say only good for making people listen EVEN LESS to the parties policies and focus on the brand of the suit or the haircut of the candidates.
Still, hopefully Clegg will have taken the votes of some people who would have otherwise voted tory too.
