Why are your family members so fragile?! And why do they buy tickets for things before plans are finalized!
I think having an audition is a lot like having a day of work you can't miss. It's a career day, and I agree that it would be heartbreaking to turn down such an exciting callback. I mean, they're legit and serious, and they saw you, they liked you, and they want to see even more of you! What a huge compliment as an actor in this city!
What a dilemma. You can rant/vent at me later if you want.
I probably will rant/vent just a bit when I get home. Or maybe not. I suppose that depends on my mother. I like the idea of explaining it as a day of work, though. That makes me seem less awful. Thank you!
