I got it back! Which, aside from the walk, was just fine. Well, the whole 'I will treat you like you're going to attack me at any given moment' was kind of annoying but I suppose he gets a lot of crazy people. By the time I left, he was very friendly because, well, I hadn't been a psycho.

Yeah, that's one ugly malfunction. Perhaps for that very reason, any sort of reusable or multiple use tickets around here are swiped across exposed sensors and not taken in by machines. Happy you got it back!
