Ooooo. Someone I know has a slowly dying computer and I'm trying to see if I can salvage or assemble something for them before it gets unusable. And really truly REALLY only if it's just 'junk' that you no longer use and don't intend to sell or give to someone you know.
Well the monitors work fine, one is a CRT and one is an early-generation flatscreen. The towers have all their parts intact, with the exception of a hard drive and (working) motherboard in one of them. The other two are rather old, but still functional. (One, I believe, runs Windows 98 and the other... had its entire HD wiped, including Windows. But they still do work.)
I was saving them to make computer jewelry out of, but that's difficult and not worth keeping so many of them for.
Either or. Someone I know has a slowly dying computer and I'm trying to see if I can salvage or assemble something for them before it gets unusable. And really truly REALLY only if it's just 'junk' that you no longer use and don't intend to sell or give to someone you know.
