I'm so too tired to be on the internet right now, haha BUT Jaida and I totally went around the city today, showing my brother around but also looking for Havemercy in local B&N bookstores.
I disappeared from livejournal land for a bit there, but I just left a congratulatory note over at Jaida's journal and I wanted to leave one with you too!
omg, I've NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY TO BE A CANADIAN!!! CBC with Nancy Wilson, got it. I will watch this. I will skip school to watch this. I shall burn anyone that tries to get in my way.
Do you know what the program is called specifically? Makes it easier for me to navigate through my satellite program, etc. (And, say you live in Toronto. That would make me watch this at EST time, right? *a complete retard about this kind of stuff*)
lol, actually I missed bits of the morning, but it's just exam review day, where we drop by any time to get our marks. (I'm afraid if I were to miss actual class time, I wouldn't have the guts to stay at home. T_T Not as devoted to the Havemercy cause as I would like to think...)
Hi Dani! I think I need to add you now! I've been meaning to for ages and just ... you know, never managed to.
So, I'm curious, in NYC do bookstores ever put "local author" tags on books by, you know, local authors, or is it kind of moot because there are so many there?
Hello! The feeling is definitely mutual. You wouldn't think a person could procrastinate on something as simple as pressing a button but there you have it! :D
The Park Slope B&N by Jaida's house has a little window dedicated to local authors... We're not in there yet, but if Jaida's mom has her way, we soon will be. Also we seem to be generating a lot of Canadian press at the moment, I assume because Canada is INSANELY proud of uh...Canadians doing things, I think. Hah.

Anyway, I'm either going to have to order it online or try Borders this weekend. But I will get it! *determined*

Actually, we just got a call from our publicist that said it's been moved to tomorrow, an hour earlier. So hopefully you haven't skipped school yet!
