Talking about my days at
Iris, where I’ve
served earlier for merely two months, were good. The kind of experiences that I could get from the organization is worth appreciable, and had the learning curve when it comes to, something known as, Life. There was love, there was anger, there was peace, there was ego, there was competition, there was jealousy, there was casualness, there was seriousness, there was fun, and there was the opportunity to live through these vivid emotions of life, and experience the viciousness of the circle that life has.
I can’t even imagine of having experiencing the above said beautiful lights of life, without people around me. After all, it’s the kind of people around you or the ones whom you know, that guide for your maturity, towards your understanding of the intricacies of life. I can very easily count upon the names of the people who had brought the fragrance in my life, then, and had made the environment around me, a lot friendlier, and casual. Despite certain deadlines to be met, the team with which I was working, and I, were able to dig out time from our daily work, and play games around, during the office hours.
I liked the management’s perspective towards the way they would follow up, for the problems being faced by their employees. There was, and probably is still, the level of respect which an employee expects from the employer or the organization. They had an interesting feedback requesting system, where in the managing director of the organization, would ask all those involved in certain event, or project about how things could have been made better, and look for brighter approaches which would bring the joyousness of experiencing the light around.
I would like to name a few people to thank them for whatever I was able to experience there. I’m thankful to Geet (for his helping hand), Lingaraj (for all the lunch partnerships), Chaitanya (for effective guidance), Sunder (for confidence while playing carrom), Ranjana (for the ample number of smiles, and the care), Mayank (for his casual but responsible attitude towards work), Denny (for his sincerity), Alwina (for her silence), Snehal (for patiently listening to some series of lectures, from me), Yatin (for his hard cum smart working attitude), Ganesh (for his worried-ness and the number of shots that he would get each time, some task is given to him), Manjushree (for sharing her college memories), Prathamesh (for being a victim of my sarcasm), Imran (for his positive attitude), Ankit Shah (for his techno-gizmo discussions) and Hardik (for his friendliness). It would fairly be injustice if I didn’t mention the names of two people who had enlightened the surroundings around me, thanks to Shruti for her patience to listen to me, for her daily waits that she would do at the bus stops till I got the bus, the smiles, and for the coziness in talks. Most importantly, I want to thank Jayesh for his endless support when it came towards learning better ways to work, for his knowledge that he had towards what was being done, for his quick understanding of my approaches ;), for his appropriate guidance, even after I had conveyed him about my will to leave the organization.
Last, but not the least, some thanks to all the carom, and TT players, and the management of the organization who made me experience a home-like environment at Iris.
