Some people have part-time jobs despite not getting any pay out of it. Ha ha. [Not him though. Not yet.]

I cook and clean...help other people out when they need it. I suppose you basically do whatever entertains you.

I help newcomers at the Welcome Center, at least when the cycle is busy. Even when it's not, I have to prepare for next time.

Oh, I do. When experiments don't interfere with that, I train or read or swim...well, at least when the lakes aren't frozen over.

Oh, yes. It simulates environments and monsters from home perfectly. I much prefer it to training against dummies in the barracks.

Well. I go to school, I do some training, I work at the smithy, I do more training, I work on stuff at home, then there's reading, and then just talking to people. [He thinks about it for a second.] I don't think I get bored very often, actually.

During the summer, I made some canoes. I uh, have a different project I'm working on now. More indoors. [But he won't tell because it's personal and only Katara knows about it.]
