Rating: PG

Summary: Tegan Rees wonders if she should cut back on her drinking when she wakes up and doesn't remember getting home the night before.

A/N : Took some time to write, and post because I've been procrastinating like hell. This is a new world of mine which I started for another challenge, so I'm not 100% familiar with it yet. :)

I didn't do a banner because meh, I'm blank but just so you know I saw Tegan as Tricia Helfer like she looks like in BSG (Battlestar Galactica) and I might do one later on.

Heee. Also, this kinda is a sequel thingy of this story : State Of Mind  but it didn't fit in with my whole other challenge thing so yeah. If you wanted a better view of things, read that one before or after you read this one.

I'm not above beggin for comments, lol. I really want to know what you think of my stuff. Seriously.

Tegan Rees woke up with a headache on a Saturday morning, she didn't quite understand why she was on her couch with only a blanket covering herself. The last thing she remembered was getting a cab to take her home from her best friend's bacheloret party and that's as far as she gets before there's nothing.

She never had this strong a headache before, and she's had some pretty massive ones so that's saying something. She reached up to wipes some of her long, wavy blond hair from her face when she felt something mat and sticky in her hair. Ewww.

She struggled to stand up and getting rid of the damn blanket. She sat up and stretched a bit like a cat, before standing up and noticing that her shoes were by her couch. Hmm, either she was soo drunk she had a black out but not drunk enough to pass out before she got herself inside, to the couch and taking of her heels and pulling a blanket over herself or someone else did all that.

Could be either one.

She stumbled into the bathroom, turning on the lights but they were too bright so she turned them off again deciding that the light coming from the outside was good enough and looked for her hairbrush. Maybe it was something she could comb out for the most part and then just wash the rest out. It wasn't until she got to her mirror that she noticed that the patch in her almost white blond hair was dark-red and could very well be blood.

God, what the hell had happened to her last night?

She probably could have washed it out or something, but one does not think about logical things when you're in the process of freaking out. So, that is why she grabbed her scissors and chopped of her pretty blond locks and was left with the look of do-it-yourself haircut.

Which is also why she's wearing this horrible hat she once got for a birthday once from her mom and a girl she has no idea who is gives her a slightly weird look when she is introduced to her by the way of her neighbour, Sophie Aimi.

The girl really was adorable and she had been so nice when Tegan gave her that birthday cupcake, but then she had the feeling that Sophie didn't have many friends. Some friends, but not that many and perhaps that her life was just work and watching tv or books, something like that because she hardly left her flat at weekends when Tegan was at home. It's not like Tegan herself was mad for the party-scene herself but she had friends who would drag her to all sorts of things and she never really had anything better to do.

She asked where they were going and the girl said they were going to get snack food and movies. What about her?

Umh, she was going to go see if she could find someone to fix her hair and Sophie goes all concerned and asking what happened to her hair. yeah, right. Like she was going to tell her she woke up with blood in her hair. Not that she thought she was going to call the cops on her or anything, but she just thought that was something one keeps to herself.

So she just tells them somehow she got some gum in her hair and that she had to cut some of her hair off and she so far from a professional that she made a mess of it. She should have thought of that before she did that but sometimes she really acts before she thinks. They don't look particularly convinced, but Riley (the new girl) just said all right and pulled Sophie along.

Tegan kinda felt like she needed to say 'pheww!' and mock-wipe her forehead, but she didn't because that would have been kind off weird and the hat was weird enough for one day. People kept watching the damn hat, she could feel it and sometimes she thought people knew the reason for why she cut it of in the first place. But there's no way they could have, but she was just being paranoid and she was obsessing over where the blood came from because she didn't have a scrape on her.

She checked after she cut off her hair and she didn't find one single damn scratch or anything else with blood on it. She really hoped she hadn't done anything bad and did it in that black out of hers. That would just be just so trapped in the Twilight Zone.

The End... of this part at least.
