Rating : PG, what else is new.
Summary : Renée has a date, but will it go without a hitch?
A/N : This is written for prompt # 29 (Et Tu, Brute?) for the
tamingthemuse community. This is part of my Silent Wish (new version) universe. I haven't written that much for him, but you should see the notebooks and folders with stuff for it. lmao. So, I intend to write much for this one. :D
Yes, I did use the same banner and only replaced Penny with Love. I've done the same with the banner for Aimée. lol. :D
Just to refresh : Renée = JG, Mari = Marla Sokoloff and obviously Aidan = JA. lol. :D
Pics got from here :
jen-garner.net,
Marla and the Jensen Ackles one was found with the help of Google. It's been a while so I have no idea from where it was except I found it searching with Google. If anyone knows, let me know and I'll credit. :)

"Just wait here for a bit. And do not talk to anyone, at all. Just ignore them." Renée told her human date for the evening, as she put him in one of the living rooms before going to change out of her ruined shirt.
"All right." He told her, as he sat down and was beating himself up inside his mind for getting himself up inside his mind for getting red wine spilled on her white silk shirt. But he had never gone on a date with a vampire before. He was just a little nervous. Well, he was a nervous wreck.
But then she hadn't really acted that vampy, so he was starting to doubt her claim. Maybe it was just a thing. Some people claim, but turn out to be fake. After all she was seriously hot, so he'd let it go on for a while at least as long as she didn't try and drink his blood.
He looked up and saw a young woman enter the room. She was dressed in colorful clothes and all bubbly. What came next knocked him down, because suddenly after she had removed her sweater wings sprung up from nowhere. These were not fake wings, or well if they were they were fantastic and realistic. They looked like what was usually depicted.
Kind of like butterfly wings, but hers were the color of a strong rainbow. He thought maybe he saw some feathers in there but that can't be right. Insect wings with feathers would be a totally new thing to her. He just tried to sink into the chair because who knew how she'd react to him seeing that. Whatever that was.
Was she a fairy?
"You know, it's bad enough that you treat this like almost a second home but do you have to unfurl your wings here? You know, I might end up just not giving a damn that you are Renée's best friend and taste you. I would probably end up drinking you dry." A young looking guy who had just entered the room told the woman, as he stood in the driveway and Peter (yes, that's his name) started to wonder if all of Renée's family thought they were vamps... or maybe they really were. God, he hoped not.
He noticed this amazing looking feather on the floor. It had the same rainbow thing going and it seemed to sparkle. He started to move very slowly to get closer to it, it would be a great thing to sell. Who else could be selling something like this?
"You know, touching that... is not a good idea." Said the guy and Peter looked up at the man who had a smile on his face and a creepy glint in his eyes.
"Umh... Why?" Peter asked him, and the girl picked it up and put it in the pocket of her sweater before she threw said sweater on the couch. He could still see a bit of it peaking out the pocket of her sweater and it was kind of sparkling and almost crackling.
"Because it's poisonous, you dolt. No one can touch Fae-feathers except Fae's. Wait, are you Renée's human dates?" The girl asked him, with this condescending tone in her voice. She didn't look like she sounded, because she looked totally sweet and sounded like a bitch at that moment.
"Yeah, so?" He asked her, as she literally made her wings furl up and disappear. That was just so... insane to see happen. How could that really be happening? Had he accidentally taken some drugs, had Renée slipped him some drugs?
"She's just curious. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have fun." The guy told him, right into his ear and Peter hadn't even notice him moving! He was really messing up his personal space and freaking him out, because he could have sworn the guy just sniffed at his neck. Now if that isn't vampy, he didn't know what was.
"I... I have to go. Maybe... uh, maybe one of you could tell Renée I had to go. Nice... to meet ya'll." He said before he shot up out of the chair and went straight for the door. 'Freaks!' was what went through Peter's head as he tried not to run to the door. 'Freaking nutjobs!'

Renée came into the room, dressed in a black wrap dress and ready to go out again. Except she couldn't find Peter where she left him. She knew just what had happened. Her brother. He always had to ruin her fun with his own little fun. She stalked to the sun-room which had special tinted glass so they could be there during the day but it was more used during the night and was one of Aidan's favorite spots in the house.
"Could you just for once not ruin the evening for me? Just once. Is that too much to ask for?" Renée asked him, as she stepped into the room and spotted her brother lounging on a couch that was pushed almost up to one of the glass walls. It was a fantastic place to lie and look up at the sky, very relaxing.
"Come on, the guy was a totally moron. He almost picked up one of Marigold's feathers. How stupid can one get?" Olivier told her, as Renée noticed Mari on the other side of the room. She was handling her pretty, shiny rainbow feather as it was as precious as the most extravagant jewel she had ever seen but then who wouldn't kill for one of those feathers. Most of the old Fae's wings were no longer painted so innocent by their world-weary aura.
"Et tu, Brute?" Renée just asked her, because like Mari would actually just leave one of her precious feathers just lying around. The first time she had gotten them and did that, her parents had found out. They had told her how much worth they are and how she had to take care of them. So, there was no way at all that she had just let one fall down to the carpet and let it laying there.
"Don't go all dramatic on me, Renée. I don't know why you have taken up this new hobby but it's not smart or healthy for you. You better stop it...before your parents return from their business trip and find out you have been going out with your food. We are only doing this because we love you, and we want to save you from yourself." Mari told her, as she stood up and put the feather away.
"I know you do, and for you two to actually work together it must be big. I get it, I'll stop." Renée told them, but she looked down as she played with the hem of her red buttoned down sweater she had over her black wrap dress. She turned away from her brother and best friend who kind of looked a bit guilty now, and made her way to the stairs leading to her bedroom.
The End...This part, anyways.
