Summary: Time flies.
Rating: G
A/N: Just so ya know, I wrote the majority of this on the plane to Spain so I had no idea Adam called Tommy a kitty cat until afterwards. Lol. XDDD
I hope ya like
"Oh my god, Tommy? Is that you?" The red haired lady in the mall asked Tommy, who had just been browsing in store windows.
"Umh, yeah. Do I know you? Are you a fan? Because I'd really like to chat and all, but I'm kinda here wth my son an..." Tommy was saying, pointing to the little brunette boy who had his face smushed up against a window of a petshop looking at the kitties.
"Times flies like crazy. Shit, you have a kid now? And a fan? Fan of what? We were in High Shcool together, silly. Can't believe you don't remember me. Either I've changed that much or I didn't leave much of an impression on you," the red haired lady said and grinned at him. Wow, she probably had no idea at all. That was a little refreshing.
"Oh, right. Umh, Lisa?" Tommy asked her, guessing a name out of the blue. This could get awkward.
"Danni, actually. But good try. So, who's the lucky lady who snagged you? Don't be shy, I see that ring, mister," Danni told him, with a wink. Like oh, look at us married people.
"I did. It wasn't easy, but I finally landed him after a few years. Who's your friend, Tommy?" Adam asked, as he came up to them and looked over to where their kid had moved onto the birds. He slipped a hand around his waist and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"Oh, really, Tommy? Well, you sure snagged a hot one. But you look familiar. Have I seen you somewhere before? I have this feeling in the back of my head that I should know you," Danni told Tommy, with a smirk that disolved into a slight frown as she tried to remember where she had seen his husband before.
"Oh, my god. This hasn't happened in ages. I'm a singer. My name's Adam Lambert. What's your name?" Adam asked her with a chuckle and put out his hand to be shaken. But poor Danni's jaw had fallen on the floor and she was just staring at Tommy with wide eyes.
"Holy shit! Seriously, Tommy? Seriously? Damn, boy. I'm impressed," Danni told him, with a crazy wide smile and then finally shook Adam's hand. "So, how old is your son? I'm sorry, I don't follow gossip or anything. My nose is always buried in this or that book."
"He's turning three soon," Tommy told her, as said boy came running to him and almost launched himself into his arms.
"Wow. A big boy, I see. Almost a grown up," Danni told the boy, who was hiding his face in the crook of Tommy's neck. Adam was off to the side, beaming with pride.
"He's a little shy to start with, but once you get to know him he's the same cuddly cat as his daddy," Adam explained, with a grin on his face.
"Aaw, that's just adorable. You two are really lucky. I admire you guys, must not be easy when you're in the public eye and everyone wanting to know all about you," Danni told them, as she tried to get the kid to look at her and see that she wasn't a scary lady.
"Yes, especially the pregnancy. So glad that's over with," Adam told her, as he ruffled both son and husband's hair. Both glared at him for doing it.
"Oh, which one had it?" Danni asked.
"Tommy. My little seahorse."
"Don't call me that, I hate it when you call me that!"
"Well, congratulations again. I've gotta go get my own kids now. Take care and look me up online or something, Tommy. Bye."
Then she was gone and Tommy just asked Adam; "How am I supposed to do that when all I know about her is her first name and that we went to High School together."
"Innocent mistake. People assume other people remember what they remember."
"Whatever, let's go get a cat."
"Oh, great. I'll be outnumbered by the cats in my own home." Adam groaned, the dramaqueen.
"Shut it, and hold your son before my arms fall off. We're getting a tuxedo cat."
"Fine, fine. Whatever you want... seahorse."
"Stop it, or no sex for a week."
That made Adam pout.
