"So, what are you up to these days?" Anna asked Tommy, while they lounged on a couch in a quiet corner away from the noise of the party they were both attending without knowing. They used to have a thing, not exactly a relationship but more a comfortable arrangement. But they hadn't seen each other for years so they were playing catch up.
"Nothing much, really. Same old, same old. What about you?" Tommy asked her, picking some lint of her aqua blue chinese style silk dress.
"Oh, nothing here either. I mean, life has been real dull for me since Claire left me, ya know? I'm just waiting for her to get bored and come home again.That's usually how things go these days." Anna explained, with a sigh.
She really didn't really want to talk about it too much, she wasn't really one for airing her dirty laundry but hey, he was an old friend so she wasn't really going to ask him to keep his nose out of it. He knew how Claire was. Off course, what she didn't expect was the black haired boy who came over to them and sat down next to Tommy. Well, okay so pretty boys being attracted to Tommy and all was not something new.
But the fact that this said boy kinda looked at her all suspicious before starting to nuzzle Tommy's neck was kind of funny. Like she was a threat to him. Well, if she wanted to she probably could. She sensed he wasn't even a month old, those tended to get a little overprotective of their sires.
"So, who's the new kid?" Anna asked him, picking up her murky pink cocktail from the table in front of them and grabbing the cocktail cherry to munch on as she watched her old friend struggle with a lap full of an eager young vampire.
"Umh, uh. This is... well, Adam." And that was highly amusing. Seeing him struggle with a growly kid licking up his neck and now practically straddling him to get closer.
"He seems... intent on something there."
"Yeah, uh, I don't know what's gotten into him." Tommy told her, as the licking turned into kisses and then suddenly he bit down and hard making Tommy gasp because really, you didn't do that at a party with other vampires.
"Uuuuhh, Adam. Wha-what are you do-doing?" Tommy asks the boy, trying to get him to quit drinking and sit up, but the boy just keeps on going. After a minute or two, when Tommy's all nice and mellow from the blood loss (yes, vampires get affected by that too) Adam retratced his fangs and looked up at Anna who had been watching them with amusement.
"Mine." Adam just told her, matter of factly and then licked the blood off Tommy's neck and his lips before kissing Tommy and snuggling up next to him.
"Oh, definetly yours." She told him with a smirk, taking a drink from her cocktail and glancing over at Tommy who was looking at Adam with this kinda dazed what just happend here? look.
