Oh MAN. Perect timing. I've gotten interested in a show, just in time for a strike.

I think I've been persuaded to watch Moonlight. The vampire detective, who falls for a human, seems to be the selling point

Are you kidding? The whole set-up screams 'melodrama' and so I am doomed to love it.

I have unfortunately gotten sucked into watching the show. Terribly melodramatic and cheesy and just so incredibly bad that it's good. A terribly guilty pleasure of mine and it doesn't hurt that Alex O'Loughlin is pretty hot.

I love cheesy melodrama. Half this LJ is dedicated to it after all. This is so irresistable, pushes all my buttons.

I'm not a big fangirl or anything but I do watch the show. It ain't bad.

Heh. I lasted one episode, but it might have been the combo with Twilight producing some sort of cheese time-space continuum overload.

I unashamedly love angsty mushy cheese. Biting optional. So this looks awesome.

I looooove me some Blood Ties. Production values poorer than Moonlight, but the character writing is much sharper. However I like both.

And there's the factor that Moonlight is basically one big triangle where she is deeply connected to both the guys. Which is fine with me because I actually like triangles such as this where no one guy is written as the bad guy.

On top of it, I just adore that in real life she is much older than one of her love interests (like 10 years or so?) and it's exactly no issue at all (well on screen it's not anyway, because he's a vampire) and they just sparkle.
