heh.

I feel you should have gushed more about Rutger Hauer in your review. Simply because he is rutger hauer.

My head is still on my deep and abiding hatred of akito in fruits basket after reading vol 17 earlier today(amazing, isnt it, how something meant to make you feel sympathy for a character can make you hate them more)

I have to admit I know both versions and the director's cut is much much better. Good thing you saw that first, because the version that came out in cinema's - though amazing for a 1980's movie - was a bit too vague. A lot of ppl didn't get it but now with the new voice over and all it is much, much better.

It must have been so out of place as an 80s movie!

It's the best scifi movie I've ever seen. I am still shaking. And I must see it again.

Absolutely agree - I have seen it may be 100 times. It is my "special" movie!

I've seen the original and the first director's cut. I should probably see this one too (because I do love the movie), but the last time I watched felt it was very dated.

The novel is amazing too--the original title was Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? but I imagine it's been re-titled Blade Runner by now.
