With everything else, I did manage to get some drama viewing in. YES. It pays to be an insomniac.

Finished Loveholic and Taiyou No Kisetsu finally. Loveholic required a lot of ffing on my part. Ultimately, it was an OK drama, but I adored eps 1-5 and then it somehow all dissipated. The pace slowed from scamper to a crawl, and the story tropes ( Read more... )

Widdle Guy(aka, Little Yoshitsune) is beyond adorable and endearing. Amazingly, his adorableness is almost matched be that of Widdle Guy 2 and Teeny Princess(those 2 may be young, but they understand their angst duties as a samurai otp...yeesh)

A very large part of my love for samurai stuff is that all those women are made of solid steel. As awesome as Lady Tokiwa is, would you believe me that her daughter, Yoshiko, actually tops her? Easily. Sadly, she seems gone from the series now(just started ep 43), but at least she didn't die...Yoshiko, I mean(no comments on Tokiwa)

Being manpainy with his OTP as emo!brother merely looks on, knowing he will never achieve such manpainy heights.

So very true. I don't think emo!brother is even trying sometimes, either. He's had to make his five minute pick up scene with the Heroine seem like some epic romance just to try and get some traction. And that only resulted in even more manpain for LKJ which was surely not what he intended.

emo!brother is probably secretly wishing his parents never adopted LJK :P I mean, he can only get the girl if LJK is dead and that's not very comforting...being better than a dead guy.

It is definitely true. This drama supposedly has good ratings and I really doubt most of it is from macho men who want to see guns shoot :P

The stills are from eps 3 and 4. (Three ends with him getting on the plane to Thailand), four is the holy grail of angst and ship though...

jdramas has it (though I don't know if it's up to 4 on it). If you go to the soompi thread for this, and the very first post, it will have dl links to hardsubbed eps including these.
